Maya Harris is a word fanatic. Her passion for writing and helping others began at a very early age. Ms. Harris is a graduate of Virginia Union University, where she obtained her B.A. in English with a concentration in Secondary Education. She earned her Master's degree from Walden University in Educational Leadership. In addition to her 17-year career as a Secondary School English teacher, Ms. Harris served as a reading specialist in Connecticut and an Language Coach in Virginia. She has been a freelancer editor for over 10 years.
