CoachRob Williams

Coach Rob Williams brings over two decades of experience to the court. He has coached basketball teams at the high school and community college level. Rob Williams also worked as a coach with the Amateur Athletic Union, an organization that promotes sports to people around the globe. AAU is devoted to all sports and physical fitness in general. Williams is proud to have contributed to the organization by coaching basketball.

Rob Williams got his start in basketball from a young age. He attended Gulf Coast Community College, where his performance on the court ended up winning him a basketball scholarship. He later transferred to Florida State University, where he earned a bachelors of science in Sports Management. Williams also has a Masters degree from the U.S. Sports Academy in Sports Administration.

Williams enjoys the opportunity to educate others both on and off the court. Over the years, he has logged classroom experience. He's taught Driver's Education at Georgia's Ware County High School. He also taught a first aid course there. Williams has also spent years teaching physical education, a natural extension of his coaching ability. To further serve the schools he has worked in, he's also spent time as a substitute teacher.

Coach Rob Williams has also spent years coaching students at the community college level. He served as an assistant coach at Gulf Coast Community College, one of his alma maters. Additionally, he coached the Men's team at Alabama Southern Community College until 2007. While he was coaching in Alabama, the team came in third place in its division.

Before coaching in Alabama, he was the Assistant Coach at Chipola College in Florida. His team had a record of 29-4. While Williams was coach, the Chipola College team was the second ranking team in the country. He led the team to victory at the Panhandle Conference Championship in 2006. During his tenure, the team did earn the number one spot for twelve weeks.

As a coach, Rob Williams is committed to his teams. He not only focuses on the skill of the team, but also on the skill of each individual player. With Coach Rob Williams at the helm, a basketball team can achieve success.
