What I like is building bridges between communities, taking down borders across cultures and areas of expertise. I enjoy empowering people, animating visions and inspiring the overall process. With an eye for catching the future solution for present problems, networking and creativity seems to be the answer.
From private to public to scientist and NGO activitist involved in changing the world food market, I still manage to find time for some solitary reflection and "building up my own town". My method of getting rid of daily stress is building a town in my mind, organizing it, its businesses and residential areas together with an academia zone that helps young professionals get the best out of life.
I love to do new things all the time from scuba diving (done in May 2012 in my honeymoon in Cuba) to self learning German (just started) and cooking with my wife (all the time).
