Every learner’s story deserves the spotlight.

I’m an educator with a background in professional theatre and youth arts education. Before teaching, I ran Kitchener-Waterloo Youth Theatre while completing my Theatre and Performance degree at the University of Waterloo. I also worked for five years as a professional stage manager for several companies across Ontario, and am a member of the Canadian Actor’s Equity Association.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that every learner has a story worth sharing. I strive to create classrooms where students feel seen, valued, and confident expressing their ideas in ways that reflect who they are. I draw on my theatre experience to build community, nurture creativity, and design learning that honours student voice.

Whether onstage or in the classroom, I’m passionate about supporting young people as they grow into bold, curious, and capable storytellers.
