Cody Melcher

Cody Melcher, now a resident of Chicago, IL, attended the University of Texas as a student in Radio-Television-Film and Rhetoric & Writing. He has written for The Daily Texan - Special Edition and has done other freelance writing and performance work. While at the University of Texas, he founded the theatre troupe Eccentrik Werks and wrote four plays, two of which he produced and directed himself.

When he is not writing, he likes to perform improv, read, watch television, debate philosophy, and is currently trying to learn the cello. After spending most of his life with adults telling him to "wait until you're older–then people will find you funny," he has found this mostly to be a dirty dirty lie. He is petrified of success and mortified of failure. He has a cat but does not consider himself a "cat person".
