Student in Atlanta, Georgia
I am a student at the University of Georgia majoring in accounting and international business. Despite my major, I always have been interested in photography and adventure. My sense of adventure and desire for travel stems from my innate spontaneity and wonder about the world. Traveling the world and capturing life's most beautiful moments, from a butterfly flapping its wings to the sun hitting the Eiffel Tower allows me to see the world from a unique perspective. Photography became a passion of mine in high school. In my sophomore year, I joined Yearbook and it's been downhill ever since. My interest in photography and cameras only grew and in my junior year, my mom bought my first camera. From then on, I strived to use my camera to its fullest extent; from taking pictures at soccer and football games to just pictures of things in my daily life. Seeing the world through a camera lens differs from viewing it with your own eyes. A photograph can capture a specific moment in time, allowing you to relive it even as one’s memory fades. Just by looking at a photograph, emotions that one felt in that moment are brought back as if you were just there. My passion for photography is also what drives me to travel the world so that I can always have a piece of the world with me wherever I go.
