Christie Cognevich

Christie Cognevich is from New Orleans, Louisiana, where she lives with two cats named after dead poets. She likes books too much. This explains why she has an MFA in creative writing for children and young adults from the Vermont College of Fine Arts, a PhD in English literature from Louisiana State University, and a BA and MA in English literature from the University of New Orleans. A former educator who taught literature and writing for over a decade, she now works in library services. Christie is the author of Introverts: Insights and Tips for Teenagers, Dealing with Stress: Insights and Tips for Teenagers,and Depression: Insights and Tips for Teenagers.
