Cognitive development means how children think, explore and figure things out. It is the development of knowledge, skills, problem solving and dispositions, which help children to think about and understand the world around them. Brain development is part of cognitive development.

Our certified special education teachers lead class lessons and guide paraprofessionals in working one-on-one with students and using specialized teaching techniques centeredaround each child’s abilities. While paras utilize individual curriculums, group lessons include thematic topics that target goals relevant to each child. With small class sizes, students get a chance to develop their social skills and interact with peers.
