Colby Dimsdale

Hi my name is Colby Dimsdale, I live in Michigan and am a senior at Troy High school. Here are a few words that would describe me best as a person.

Competitive- Ever since I was a child I always wanted to race someone. I have been a competitive swimmer all my life and want to continue swimming in college. I have been humbled many times by people who demolish me and races, Each time bouncing right back and trying to go faster.

Thrill seeker- I have always been game to try or go someplace new. The idea that something unknown to me always sparks enough curiosity in my head to look into it. I would say with everything that I have done I have enjoyed it all to the fullest extent.

Exhausted- From swimming at 3:50am to school and tennis then finally string bass practice, I have been exhausted almost my entire high school life. It’s a path I choose to take though because it makes me more focused and also lets me really enjoy the time I have to rest.

Agreeable- If I am in a group I always try to have the entire group agree on whatever we are doing. I directly don’t come up with ideas all the time but I try to include as many people as I can to make it a group project as much as it can be.

I have had my fair share of troubles in life but the ability to overcome problems is something people have to learn. I am trying to deal with life’s set backs and hopefully use them to propel myself Into a future that is successful. I hope you learned something about me!
