Cole Blouin

Cole Blouin is an improvisational guitarist, composer and songwriter whose music wanders in the wilderness between the jazz, contemporary classical, American folk and singer-songwriter traditions. Recently, he has studied guitar with the likes of Vic Juris, Paul Bollenback, and Maine's Bob Thompson, as well as improvisation/folk styles with violinist Eden MacAdam-Somer. His work has been described by Tin Hat's Carla Kihlstedt as being "very beautiful and very strange". Formerly a liberal arts student at Oberlin College, as of Fall 2015, he studies Contemporary Improvisation at New England Conservatory.
