Heather Cole

Hello my name is Heather and I am a Freelance Advanced City & Guilds Qualified Floral Designer with over 3 years experience in the floristry industry specialising in wedding and event floral design. Until recently I owned and managed my floral design business Evelyn Cole Flowers providing floral design services for the weddings of private clients.

I have experience in designing flowers for photoshoots and experience in the management and styling of full product shoots. My work has been featured in national and regional wedding publications including Perfect Wedding Magazine and online on blogs including Love My Dress, Hitched.co.uk. and in the dress collections of bridal designers Madeline Isaac-James and Terry Fox Bridal.

I also have over 5 years experience working within the charity sector providing business support to charities and as an administrator, researcher and personal assistant with experience in developing project and business plans, marketing and communications strategies, research and report writing, event co-ordination and management and secretarial experience.

Specialities - Project Planning & Development, Policies & Procedures, Data Analysis monitoring and evaluation including Qualitative and Quantitative Data, Communication and Marketing Strategies, professional administration, secretarial support, event management and co-ordination, floral design, photo styling and knowledge and experience in the use of composition, colour and design in floral design.

That's what I have done but who am I? Lover of art, history, tea, running, walking, the outdoors and generally all things beautiful. Natural red head with Norwegian roots, my Great Grandmother emigrated to the United Kingdom from Bergen.
