In 2007, I graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a B.S. in Computer Science. Since then I have served as Information Technology Coordinator for the College of Education. In 2013, I began my graduate-level education in Information Security and Assurance at Norwich University, where I will graduate in June 2015. I expect to begin my Ph.D. soon.
I have significant interests in social and behavioral influences on information security. I am also interested in information security within educational contexts: how schools practice security, how schools maintain security awareness, best practices in educational environments, etc. Furthermore, I am interested in how information security awareness and best practices can be integrated into teacher preparation and educational leadership curricula. More broadly, I maintain an interest in computer science education and the teaching of broad, technological literacy. Additional interests include information systems policy/law, human-computer interaction, and the psychology of computer use.
