Writing is a garden and I am the garden spade
Writing is a garden where you should go to weed for at least ten minutes a day. Writing is a place to plant and ground your ideas to let them grow with the sun.
I am the garden spade.
I work on a writing piece until it is weed-free, so my ideas can come to life and reward me with their rich fruits.
Ground-breaking straight into the dirt of an assignment or personal project allows me to start creating a fresh and aerated starting point in which I can plant my ideas. I frequently have multiple crops growing, reflecting the different genres in which I like to write. If one crop is not progressing I will take time to nurture it with a shower of new ideas and patience. Crops in the garden will not produce overnight though, they need my help. I know that occasionally I need to dig up the weeds of neglect up from the garden which overshadow an old idea. I am not afraid to unearth old ideas from the garden of my writing which are not growing.
For,
I will break ground again and plant the seeds of another idea.
