Colin Lee

A passionate, enthusiastic educator, Colin strives daily to appreciate, inspire and motivate his students. Educated locally, from Anglo-Chinese School, Victoria Junior College, Nanyang Technological University to his Executive MBA from Nanyang Business School experience, he had benefitted from many inspiring teachers and tutors. He now prides himself on a teaching style that is positive and highly interactive, encouraging participation in creative ways to engage students in their own learning.

Colin has also worked with secondary students who experienced frustrations due to weak mathematical foundations, and strongly believes that concepts must be fortified as early as possible. A strong foundation will help students tackle more difficult topics as they progress. After passing their PSLE, many students struggle with the jump in standards and complexity taught secondary school mathematics, especially in the subject of algebra. Algebra is one of the foundational concepts needed in order to excel as it cuts across all the mathematics topics tested in the ‘O’ level examinations.

As a proud father of two inquisitive and adventurous girls, his personal conviction to lead by example in attitude and behaviour carries through to his coaching approach.

His hope is to equip the younger generations with confidence and love for knowledge by practicing flexibility and patience as they discover their own interests and styles of learning.
