I am seventeen years old and I’m currently attending my fourth year at Tom C. Clark High School in San Antonio, Texas. I have been very involved in the schools swimming and water polo team, and this year I was elected to be a captain of the team. My team means a lot to me because they are not just a team, they are like my second family. We all wake up at 5 a.m. every morning to go swim in the cold water in the middle of winter and having my team with me makes it all worth it. I am an active member of the National Honor Society at my high school. Through this organization I have had the wonderful opportunity to volunteer and help the San Antonio community. Outside of school I have many hobbies other than swimming that I enjoy. Some of my favorite things to do would be to watch movies, play basketball, and read. I constantly change my mind about what I want to do when I’m older, but I’m strongly considering something in the medical field and I hope to get a degree from either Baylor University or UTSA.
