As chief dealer with Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Colin Devereux managed the daily operations of the G-10 FX desk as well as proprietary trading of his own book. In order to leverage directional cash positions, Colin Devereux implements exotic and vanilla options strategies.

Based in London and New York, Mr. Devereux’s accomplishments include the development and redesign of an internal aggregator system, and spearheading efforts to enhance global performance and functionality. He previously engaged with BNP Paribas in London as chief dealer, managing his own proprietary account and overseeing risk with the FX desk. His market based input in the development of algorithms provided the e-commerce teams at both institutions with strategies for optimizing client order execution and risk management functions.

Mr. Devereux holds a bachelor’s degree in business information systems from the University College Cork in Ireland. He began his career in finance in the late 1990s through the SBC/UBS graduate training program.
