Colin Dickson

I am currently the Director of Technology for Blue Clover, a digital marketing agency where I manage multiple concurrent cloud-based development projects and maintain websites for over 40 clients, leading a small design and development team.

I enjoy this work because it allows me to combine my web development skills with my technology project management abilities. I've been passionate about web development for many years and prior to taking my current role I worked on freelance web projects for over 4 years. During this time I designed and developed multiple sites for my clients and also devised and executed search marketing campaigns.

My prior background in IT was a great grounding for my current work because I gained extensive experience in numerous technologies and learned how to juggle multiple competing priorities, both as an IT Analyst providing technical support to over 1,400 users within a Fortune 500 company and as an IT consultant for top 50 home builder in Texas.

Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working in fast-paced, busy environments and I thrive on challenge. I've been equally happy as a team member or team leader – for me what's most important is that the work is interesting and that I am challenged to learn and grow.
