Colin graduated in June 1996 with a BSc in Applied Computing from Waterford Institute of Technology. Since that time he has forged a successful career in Information Technology, specialising in software development. With expertise covering Telecoms, Finance, e-Learning, Security and Change Management, he has extensive experience across a large variety of platforms and is highly skilled with an impressive array of computer languages and software tool and systems.

He has extended his personal development as a continuous process beyond his graduation with a variety of technical and management training courses and has published and presented papers to the Irish Society for Scientific and Engineering Computation (ISSEC). In 1999 he led a Smithsonian Award and PC World award winning project on the Advanced Use of Information Technology for Education.

Colin’s work to-date has taken him throughout Ireland and the United States and includes working in the High Performance Computing arena and with large enterprises including Vodafone, Apple and Intel.
