"You cannot run away from a weakness; you must sometimes fight it out or perish. And if that be so, why not now, and where you stand?"
- Robert Louis Stevenson

I am a BA Hons Media Production Management graduate (1.1) with several years experience working in technical, administrative, creative and customer service related areas within the music and media industries. I am currently studying Digital Marketing by night at DBS to improve my skill set which already recently contains writing in excess of 300+ demographic specific student related articles for collegetimes.com in the areas of music, sport, sexual health and general topical related subjects.

This, added to my experience in events with both MCD and currently Festival Republic where I (since May 2014) hold the position of accreditation manager for the forthcoming festival season (Electric Picnic, Longitude, Royal Hospital Kilmainham and Maraly Park gigs) gives me first hand insight into many aspects of the mindset and thinking of the social media and digital savvy youth of today.

I am music mad and have undertaken both solo electronic instrumental projects in addition to having released recorded music that has charted with both my current band Skyward Rifles and former New York based act Suddyn. I am a mad Liverpool Football Club supporter (for my sins), and due to the nature of continuos nervous 90 minutes of football recently my fingernails are of a limited lenght, although on the plus side my doctor has consantly given me a clean bill of health. I have recently taken to rebuilding a vinyl collection (NOT A HIPSTER!) to mirror my mothers lost collection having been given some fantastic gifts for my recent (lets get this out of the way now) 30th birthday.

I now wish to expand my horizons and move into more digital and marketing based realms with social media strategies high on my agenda. I am highly organized with excellent communication, administrative and social skills. I am also passionate about delivering great customer service having dealt with everyone from kids to grandparents along my way being of the opinion (as a musician mainly) that if the customer (or listener in that case) is happy then it's all been worth it.....hasn't it!

I'm a Tipperary native being from Clonmel and believe in this day and age that it's no longer "a long way"...quite frankly since they cut Abbeyleix out of the picture it's drastically reduced travel time.
