Colin Trundle

I am an experienced graphic designer who has worked both with in-house & external clients in most areas of the industry including advertising, design for print, production and education: I have designed adverts, brochures, DM, corporate ID’s, websites, online Flash advertising & exhibition graphics. I have a wide-ranging portfolio & excellent client facing skills.

in my most recent position, I designed and artworked monthly printed magazines using InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. As part of a small team of three designers was responsible for 3 magazines per month, taking them from initial copy and images to final print ready artwork including proof reading prior to printing.

Prior to this, I was employed to visualise advertising campaigns for travel and property companies. Conrad Advertising recognised my online media skills and invited me to lead a new project to design and build online advertising. This included using my technical skills to train other designers in Flash and Dreamweaver.

I also continued my main role of developing ideas for advertising, visualising both on paper and electronically. Conrad Advertising is a large advertising agency and this gave me the opportunity to work with a range of specialist travel and property companies creating print advertising for national newspapers.

I have worked for a number of small creative agencies such that I was required to undertake all stages of the design process from visualisation and client briefing to print buying. My work at Vu2 Media and Plato focused entirely on online development and, before that, roles have included account handler and production coordinator.

When I'm not doing any of the above, I enjoy a spot of gardening - veg mainly and some guitar playing - at the moment it's all about my homemade 3 string cigarbox guitar.
