Colin Wiebe

I grew up in Victoria, British Columbia. Having an opera singer for a father, I grew up with music. I've been writing songs and singing since I was a kid. I co-wrote a song that won the prestigious American Song Festival.

I built my first company when I was 18 years old. It was a costume store which I sold for a profit when music and girls were more important.

I played professionally for years in the thriving Vancouver music scene and in the 1980's, I joined A&M recording artist Paul Janz.

In 1991 I became the lead singer, keyboardist/guitarist for Randy Bachman. I toured all over the world with Randy and highlights include playing the Orange Bowl/NBC Parade in Miami. The Governor Generals Award Show on CBC for Neil Young’s induction. TV and concert appearances in Europe and many Classic Rock shows with the likes of Alice Cooper, Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Three Dog Night the Doobie Bros. and many more .

I was on a few albums and DVD's with Randy including my personal favourite, "Every Song Tells a Story". Randy Bachman produced my second CD "Livin On Dreams" which featured members of The Guess Who. I have 4 nationally released albums so far - all available on iTunes.

I founded FastCreative.com the world's first "virtual marketing department" in the early 1990's (way before E-lance and the others). I fulfilled a childhood dream by becoming a cartoonist with my own column and went on to become the Creative Director for two major daily newspapers.

I've written a few books including a spiritual book for my daughters called "The Spirit Seed" (available on Amazon.com)

I've been a Marketing Consultant for a few years working with Start-Ups and also touring as the Musical Director of The Legends Of Rock'n'Roll. I love to play gigs with my own band and play many fundraisers.

I founded an organization called Casa Humana that is building homes for the homeless around the world. Starting in Haiti, the project is gaining attention because we are making a difference and getting stuff done.
