For nearly 40 years, Collection Bureau Hudson Valley, Inc., has provided reliable collections and health care billing from its headquarters in Newburgh, New York. A family-owned business from the beginning, the company maintains a national license and Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) No. 70 certification, while utilizing state-of-the-art technology to create customized solutions for clients. Established in 1974 by Ralph Najork, who built the company's reputation as a leader in the industry, Collection Bureau Hudson Valley, Inc., provides business owners with peace of mind, enabling them to focus on what they do best. The founder's son, Fred Najork, followed in his footsteps, becoming President of the company. His son, Eric Najork, serves as President today. Another son, Kurt Najork, acts as Chief Operating Officer. Their uncle, Karl Najork, also manages at the firm's 10,000-square-foot facility.

Over its lengthy history, the company has honed its operations, accelerating cash flow and producing higher net-back recoveries. Clients, numbering more than 600, include banks and credit unions, physicians, hospitals, retail establishments, colleges and universities, retail businesses, and fuel dealers. Collection Bureau Hudson Valley expands its Client Service Department as needed to ensure timely resolutions of all client inquiries. Collection Bureau Hudson Valley was honored in 2010 as the Orange County Chamber of Commerce Large Business of the Year, and it holds memberships in ACA International (The Association of Credit and Collection Professionals) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association. In 2011, the regional chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals named the Najork family Philanthropists of the Year for their support of such organizations as Newburgh Day Nursery, the American Cancer Society, and the YMCA of Duchess & Eastern Orange. In addition to his business duties, Eric Najork leads the New York State Collectors Association as President, a position his father had filled before him.
