I am a writer of many genres, but I particularly like fantasy, dark fantasy, science fiction. I prefer to publish most of my work independently, but sometimes submit short stories to magazines. At the moment I am studying, but I am contemplating what it might be like to write full time.

I write under three names: C.M. Simpson (for dark fantasy, roleplaying, and science fiction), Carlie Simonsen (for my juvenile chapter books and young adult fantasy and science fiction), and Madeleine Torr (for contemporary romance and romantic suspense).
