Colleen Young

I am a Saskatchewan farm girl that has been teaching since 1986. I taught Physical Education and Social Studies to high school students for many years in both Saskatchewan and Alberta. Red Deer became our home in 2003 and I have been lucky to raise my two children here. Fate brought me to North Cottage High School where I get to work with amazing students who are academic but are working through anxiety and often trauma. It has been great to have the opportunity to be able to study the science behind anxiety and trauma and how to assist students in overcoming the barriers.
