I’m a longtime journalist who has worked for three Pulitzer-Prize-winning newspapers. As a reporter, I covered everything from rattlesnake roundups and child preachers to police departments and city halls. As an editor, I’ve polished copy dealing with crime, politics, education, business, sports, and religion. My latest side project is helping my sister-in-law develop digital outreach strategies for her new restaurant. I have a passion for research and am currently collecting stories and information about the largely forgotten Tybee district, one of Macon's oldest black neighborhoods before it was razed 50 years ago. Work aside, I dabble in the kitchen and like to think, as a former New Orleanian, I make a mean crawfish pie.
