Colleen Newton

Hi Everyone!

I'm Colleen, and I am really excited to learn with you all over the next few weeks. I am a BASES (Building Academic, Social, and Employment Skills) teacher in the Surrey School District. BASES is what we call our special education program. I also teach yearbook, and I like to coach and help out with other initiatives and events at my school whenever possible.

When I am not working or doing homework for my PB+15, I enjoy reading, knitting, cooking, working out, and spending time with my friends and family.

This is my last course for my PB+15. After that, I will ladder into the Queens PME program. I recently read that Queens will be releasing a doctoral program created for those graduating from the PME in 2021, and I would like to take that very much.
