Colleen Sparks

I have always had a passion for photography, but have begun to really explore, develop and pursue it in the recent years. I have had my very first showing in April of 2010 at the McCree-Goudeau Galley in Vallejo, California. It was an amazing and successful showing and one I will never forget. My photos were then on display at the Sutter Solano Cancer Center from June to September 2010. Soon after, a small group of my photos were hung at Umpqua Bank in Vallejo, California. In January 2011, I participated in a very successful group show at Peju Winery in St. Helena, California. Since then, my photographs have been used in publications, on websites and in catalogs.

I lived in the Bay Area, California with my soul mate and husband Mike, our two children, Meleah and Jake, and our rambunctious Labradors, Max and Cassie until March 2011. Although I loved the diversity and beauty of the Bay Area, I am thrilled to have relocated to Portland, Oregon where the community is very rich in art and creativity.
