Colleen White
Operations Associate Analyst in South Carolina
I am an operations associate analyst, specializing in process optimization, training coordination, and peer development. I have over 20 years of combined retail, hospital, home infusion, ambulatory infusion, and health insurance experience - most of which centered around pharmacy operations and practice. Throughout my career, I have worked closely with pharmacists and providers to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes, and I became certified in diabetic care.
As a senior certified pharmacy technician in the retail setting, I ensured that prescriptions were entered accurately into electronic medical record systems, submitted insurance claims and prior authorizations, and resolved insurance chargebacks. I also trained new pharmacy personnel, reduced warehouse claims for prescription drug shortages, overages, order errors, and damages, and provided exceptional customer service to patients and providers. Moving into hospital and infusion settings as a certified pharmacy technician, I honed my skills in compounding and preparing various drugs using aseptic techniques, while also managing Pyxis machine restocking, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Later, as a training coordinator, I designed and executed a professional development plan that increased employee retention by 15% and opened doors for career advancement. Over a span of ten years, I developed comprehensive training materials, coordinated both in-person and virtual training sessions, and facilitated onboarding and orientation for new hires.
My educational background is in biology and chemistry, which led to an interest in public health and epidemiology. Along the way, I've used my scientific knowledge to work on research projects surrounding cervical cancer, migraines, and arthritis across both academic and personal settings. Outside of my professional work, my interests range from crafting and reading to science, technology, travel, arts, and music. If you would like to get in touch, feel free to say hello through the social link below.
