For me personally the best part of the game of baseball or softball has been striking. I wish I had a batting mentor when I was younger that may have shown me the fine art of striking. Providing my daughter a coach is my present to her. Here is one morning where I spent sometime with my daughter at her batting cage...
I realized that after about 20 more minutes of speaking and striking with her coach that this girl (we will call her this girl) was smacking the-ball as I gazed back and forth between my child and this other girl. Projectiles were streaming off her bat. That loud crack from her bat was reverberating in the service.

The anticipation of seeing a terrific player gets ready for the pitch. Digging in, concentrating on what the pitcher is doing and what the pitcher is going to do. Great.
As I continued to view my daughter, this other woman, and Manteee struck better and better I couldn't help but feel a huge amount pleas-ure. They certainly were altering before me. Whatever those coaches informed them and whatever those two women absorbed from their coaches was producing solid hit after hit. As a parent I thought that what I was doing was adding to my daughters life.
I couldn't think how pleased I was for my child and the lady I did not know. There is some thing great about learning and that willingness to be taught. I felt like I was a part of what was growing before me though I only saw them.
As I was leaving that evening I felt like my child had made progress. College Rule contains further about the inner workings of it. She was improving at it and doing what she liked. Wow.
