The purpose of this student organization is for college students to discuss social and political issues that trouble America and the rest of the world. We discuss topics such as college debt, gender issues, rape, women rights around the world, peer pressure, relationships, abuse, and other topics that are crucial in our society. Our meetings are similar to a discussion panel where we have college students (usually the President, Vice President, and/or special guest) introduce the topic through a presentation. The presentation is used to enhance the audiences knowledge over the specific topic. Afterwards, the discussion panel will be open for questions and opinions. As we discuss these issues that plague our society, we then collaborate and go to neighboring high schools to present these issues to students to further enhance their knowledge over the manner.
