Artist, Director, and Public Speaker in Atlanta
Cultural Architect | Global Ambassador | Founder & CEO
Collins Ero is a pioneering Cultural Architect and multi-hyphenate leader operating at the nexus of culture, commerce, and technology. As Founder and CEO of TIME AFRICA—a media and community platform amplifying AfroNouveau voices—and creator of The ALT, a storytelling series delivering entrepreneurial playbooks from successful multi-hyphenate businesses, Collins architects narratives that transcend borders and drive measurable economic impact.
Global Recognition & Institutional Leadership
A voting member of the Recording Academy and member of ForbesBLK and Vogue Club, Collins holds distinguished credentials from Harvard Business School (Management) and MIT’s Professional Education in Product Management, where he continues his executive training (Product Management). In 2023, he was appointed Team Captain by the Recording Academy, leading a delegation of music creators to Congressional District Advocacy meetings in Atlanta—one of the youngest professionals to hold this distinction.
Through his leadership alongside an outstanding team at Time Africa Network, the network’s groundbreaking “I Am AfroNouveau100” campaign has garnered recognition from global luminaries including Bozoma Saint John, Christine Ntim, and Usain Bolt etc. “I Am AfroNouveau100” campaign, spotlights visionary Africans and diaspora leaders redefining what’s possible across industries and continents.
Co-architect of the AfroNouveau Movement
Collins coined the term “AfroNouveau”—now a defining cultural marker for a borderless generation of forward-thinking people of African descent, echoing the intellectual legacy of “Afropolitan” as articulated by Taiye Selasi. This framework represents more than terminology; it’s an economic and cultural infrastructure empowering globally minded creators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to build without borders.
Foundation in Systems Change & Advocacy
Before boardrooms and global platforms, Collins built his foundation in systems transformation. From 2000 to 2006, alongside his late twin Chris Ero, he served across Nigeria’s child rights and public health infrastructure—organizing UNICEF’s “Say Yes For Children” campaign as part of the Global Movement for Children, leading HIV/AIDS awareness initiatives through NYAP, and serving as Secretary to the Lagos State Child-Technical-Committee under the Governor’s Office, shaping policy for vulnerable children across Africa’s largest city.
In 2004, he co-founded the Deprived Children Movement (DCM), anchored in the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the UN’s Millennium Development Goals. These formative years instilled the discipline of moving institutions without losing sight of the people they serve.
Strategic Operator & Cross-Sector Executive
Collins brings rare fluency across compliance, fintech, and cultural production. He has served as ESG lead, and Senior Compliance Analyst at Velcro USA, GE, Fiserv, leading compliance-minded fintech initiatives aligned with PCI DSS, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR frameworks. He has advised Directors, C-suite executives, and VPs at leading financial institutions on cross-border payments, creator monetization, and regulatory strategy.
He builds editorial formats that translate cultural fluency into commercial infrastructure—turning narrative into distribution, and distribution into economic upside.
Music Producer & Creative Practitioner
As Preachermafioso (Yoso), Collins produces music for the same audience he serves as a founder, embodying the multi-hyphenate ethos he champions. His creative practice informs his business acumen, and vice versa—a living demonstration of cultural architecture in action.
Keynote Speaker & Thought Leader
On stage, Collins is direct, practical, and commanding. He doesn’t theorize about building at the intersection of policy, culture, and commerce—he’s spent two decades executing at that intersection. His keynotes blend operator playbooks with cultural fluency, demonstrating how to ship products, satisfy regulators, and craft stories that move markets.
He is an ideal fit for fintech summits, creator economy conferences, international development forums, and Africa-focused convenings that require a speaker who can translate across regulators, brand strategists, policymakers, and talent—without losing the narrative thread.
Signature Philosophy
“I AM AFRONOUVEAU” — a declaration of belonging to a generation building institutions, economies, and movements that honor heritage while architecting the future.
