I am a translator specialising in patents and environmental subjects.

Working from German, French, Spanish and Dutch, I translate into my native language, English.

I acquired very high proficiency in the source languages and a deep understanding of the related cultures by living, working and studying alongside native speakers.

For the past seven years, I have provided an accurate, timely and quality-focused service to satisfied repeat clients. To date I have translated over 1,600,000 words and proofread or edited 1,500,000.

Recently I qualified as a Member of the Institute of Translation and Interpreting having been assessed on an environmental text in the German-English pair. This qualification reflects my commitment to continuing professional development and to maintaining the highest standards of work.
