Color blind Cards
London
Today Color blind cards is arguably the UK’s best known multi-cultural greeting card publisher. Launched in 2007 when a 26 year old Jessica Huie realised a gap in the market – a complete lack of ethnic diversity in the card market, and lovingly driven by a desire for 7 yr old daughter Monet and the next generation to have access to positive images that reflected their identity and nurtured self-love, Color blind was born.
Color blind Cards made history in 2007 as the first card company to put multi-cultural cards on British high-street shelves. Color blind worked with acclaimed photographer to the Queen Nina Duncan to create a range focussed on unity and diversity, a range which would be enjoyed by everybody – regardless of their skin tone.
Several business awards later we have a presence in the UK, USA, distribution in South Africa and even Bermuda. We’ve broken some ground but there is still much to do in spreading our simple message of unity and the fact that the only thing that should be separated by colour is laundry. We hope you enjoy the range as much we have loved creating and continuing to develop it.
