The pictures, even without colour, are beautiful, the story simply and clearly set out, and it will be an ideal introduction for my granddaughter to the magical world of opera. Having little knowledge of opera I was really curious to see if it would draw me in and if I would learn anything. I wasn't disappointed! The book explains the story of Turandot very clearly and with lovely illustrations which keep your attention and make it more interesting. I had to keep turning the pages to find out what happened before thinking of colouring in the beautiful illustrations. This book would be a wonderful way to introduce children to opera and in particular the works of Puccini. (Caroline W.)
