Julie Oberholzer

Julie has a background in Psychology and Sociology and completed her graduate work at George Washington University in Public Health, specializing in Maternal and Child Health. She has worked in the lactation field for 4 years. In 2009, Julie became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). She sat on the board as the Vice President of Lactation Consultant Association of Greater Washington from 2011-2013 and is a member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA). She has worked in the hospital and private setting, has provided prenatal and postpartum breastfeeding education to parents, and developed professional education for peers.
