Australian Greek actor/writer/comedian Jim Dailakis has been touring the USA and the world for the last 15 years headlining in major comedy clubs including Caroline’s, Standup New York, Broadway and The Laugh Factory in New York City. He's performed at The Borgata in Atlantic City and in 44 of the United States. He recently performed on the IG Corporate 53 City Tour across Canada in sold-out 2000+ seat theaters.
Jim also headlines by and performs for English-speaking Greek communities
He has worked with the likes of Jerry Seinfeld, Larry the Cable Guy, Kevin Nealon, Caroline Rhea, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin and Weird Al Yankovic. He's performed alongside Brad Garrett from Everybody Loves Raymond at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Since his arrival in the US, Jim has appeared in TV commercials.
He recently played roles in the independent award winning movies Mona and Broadway's Finest. He had a supporting role in the movie Uncle Melvin's Apartment, a Greek immigrant in the film, This Is Reality and a principal role in the TV series A Crime to Remember.
Jim is working on several feature films he’s written as vehicles for himself including All My Friends Are Getting Married which has a sales agent already in place.
He recently performed his one-man show in New York City called, SKITSO at the 72nd St., Triad Theater in New York City where he plays over 30 original characters and celebrities. Charles Messina is directing. The project has attracted the attention of Broadway producer Robert Blume. He’ll be performing it again at the Bellmore Theater October 17, The Players Theater November 8 and 15, and then at the 72nd St., Triad December 6 and 13.
On stage, Dailakis talks about relationships, love and mimics movie stars with an uncanny ability of being able to contort his face so he can look like them too. His performances have earned him standing ovations and adoration from audiences across the world.
