The 2nd Annual Comox Valley Shellfish Festival is presented by the BC Shellfish Growers Association in partnership with the K'omoks First Nation.

Many centuries ago the First Nations people gave the fertile Comox Valley the name of K'omoks, meaning "Land of Plenty". It is this region that surrounds Bayne Sound, which in turn can be described as a "Sea of Plenty" for producing an abundance of world-class shellfish with the help of hardworking farmers.

June 14th - 15th, 2008, Shellfish Farmers will be joined by local food and wine producers along with culinary professionals for a "show and tell" of the region's Sea to Table story.

Festival events will run all weekend, with the main-event taking place at the scenic Comox Marina Park. Entertainment, education and cultural experiences will accompany delicious shellfish tastings on the festival menu.

We can't wait to SEA you there!
