I’m Mikey Reen, developer of ConnectionHints.com.

I’ve always been into word games and logic puzzles, and when NYT Connections came out, I was immediately hooked. It’s smart, satisfying, and addictive in the best way. But I kept running into the same problem: I wanted a little help without ruining the whole puzzle.

So I built ConnectionHints , a simple, spoiler-free tool that gives just enough of a nudge to keep the challenge fun. No noise, no answers upfront, just thoughtful hints for players who want to think things through.

Everything on the site is built and maintained by me. I write the hints, manage the tech, and keep it clean and ad-free. It’s not affiliated with the New York Times , just a personal project made by someone who genuinely enjoys the game and wanted to make the experience better for others.
