Shannon’s decision to enter the field of real estate evolved from her life-long love of houses, decorating, and remodeling – plus her desire to be a part of a business that helps people achieve their goals.
Shannon is especially tuned in to helping first time buyers, because it hasn’t been too long since she was in their position. After graduating from college, Shannon returned to Merritt Island and purchased her first home in 2009. Thus, she understands what first time buyers don’t know – and what they need to know – as they begin the process of becoming homeowners for the first time.
Shannon’s enthusiasm for the area is contagious. In her eyes, Brevard County offers the best of everything: Big city amenities combined with a rural, small town atmosphere, complete with beaches, rivers, and rocket launches.
Shannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from The University of Central Florida. After graduation, Shannon worked as a Sales Representative for a large Specialty Pharmacy where she managed a 6 state territory. She also worked as a support technician for a health care software company. These experiences have allowed her to polish her skills in listening and problem solving – both of which give her clients a decided advantage.
When not helping Brevard County buyers and sellers, Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband, Gerry, and their two rescue dogs, Kali and Rusty. She’s also an avid “DIYer” and you can usually find her doing home improvement projects on the weekends.
