Hi, I’m Connie Hope, a writer, home cook, and food enthusiast based in Ft. Myers, Florida. I believe great meals come from simple ingredients, creativity, and love.

I’m a graduate of the College of New Jersey and have spent my life combining my passion for education, cooking, and writing into sharing food inspiration with others.

My love for cooking began in childhood while watching my mother in the kitchen. Since then, I’ve enjoyed experimenting with flavors, spices, herbs, and homemade dishes like salsas, jams, soups, and more.

I’m the author of In Addition…to the Entree, a cookbook focused on easy, enjoyable home cooking that turns simple meals into something special.

Through my blog, Cooking by Connie, I share recipes and ideas to help people enjoy homemade food with ease and joy.

Outside the kitchen, I enjoy gardening orchids, reading, research, music, and reconnecting with old friends.

My goal is simple: to inspire others to enjoy cooking as much as I do.
