I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Massachusetts. I am a Bachelor of Business Administration in the Isenberg School of Business studying accounting. I plan on getting my MBA sometime after college but I am not in a rush to obtain it. Upon graduation I want to work for one of the big four accounting firms. I want to work in Boston, MA as I will be able to remain close to my family and hopefully see them often. While working for a firm I hope to pass my CPA exam and become a certified public accountant. During my time working for a firm I hope to learn of how companies are run and how to properly audit a company. I hope to gain experience working with others in order to complete a job as a team. I also hope to learn what its like to work during the busy season and put my hard work ethic to the test. I wish to work for a firm for around 5 years but do not aspire to be a public accountant for the rest of my life.

After working for a firm I would like to take over my father’s company. The name of the company is Bertram, Leithner & associates. The company sells a wide range of construction goods such as anything from fall protection equipment to shovels and tools. I have a strong connect to the company and have worked as a salesman there in the past. I would like to take over the company from my father after working under him for a few years. I want to take the company into new directions and sell more lines of products in order to increase profits. I hope to make the company larger by hiring more employees and expanding our territory. I hope to retire from this around 50 in order to move to Cape Cod and spend more time with my friends and family.

One passion that I have enjoyed my entire life has been fishing. Since I was young I have gone fishing every summer with my friends and family. I hope to retire on Cape Cod and start my own fishing charter company. I have fished Barnstable for many years and know all the best places to catch fish. I love interacting with new people so this will give me a chance to show other people the joys of fishing. I would like to do this a few days a week for the summer months. I would like to spend the rest of my days with my family and friends whether it be playing golf of laying on the beach.
