Hello all. My name is Connor Matthew King. I'm 21 years old and a recent graduate of Bradley University in Peoria, IL. I graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Communication and am now working with the Peoria Chiefs (Single-A Affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals) as a Producer and Media Relations Intern. I grew up in Peoria, IL and have lived here ever since. My passion for sports began at a young age as I always had a ball in my hand. If it wasn't a basketball, it was a baseball. If it wasn't a football, it was a soccer ball. You all catch the drift. I am a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan, Bradley University basketball fan, Green Bay Packers fan, and Tennessee football fan. As I grew older, I knew I must combine my passion with my education. It was the smartest move that I ever made and I couldn't be happier to be pursuing my first full-time position in the sports industry. I did, however, once want to be a weatherman. As a young boy, I was obsessed with weather. While I did not pursue a meteorology career, the passion still remains strong. In my spare time, I storm chase with my team Mesoscale Madness. I have seen a number of tornadoes and severe storms in my lifetime and enjoy the thrill more than anyone. If there were one way to sum myself up I would label myself as passionate. I put passion into everything I do. I see no reason to start something and not finish and if I'm going to do it, I'm going to do it right.
