Connor Kirkpatrick
I love Bruce Springsteen, music, travel, writing, languages - my friends! Hope to become a Child Psychologist, or Patch Adams 2.0! In 2010, Patch Adams wrote to me, and in his letter he said "I recommend the passion of giving your life, to help make a loving world". It is by that philosophy, that vision, that I now live my life. If, at the end of my existence here on earth, I can look back and know that I lived every moment in the pursuit of that dream - to make our world more loving, more democratic, more free, and more happy, then I will die a content and fulfilled man. I ultimately want to spend my life helping others, whether that be as a Child Psychologist, or a writer, an MP, a teacher, or maybe even a clown... A big part of my life is music. I utterly adore Bruce Springsteen! He came into my life shortly after my Dad died, and since then has proven vital in sustaining me through the journey of my life. I could sit and write about my love for The Boss all day, but instead I will let him do the talking... Go and listen to "Jungleland", and you will see what I mean! As I mentioned earlier, I also love writing. Whilst the quality of this bio is hardly a feat of literary genius, I do like to believe that (sometimes at least) I can write pretty well, and in doing so touch the soul or mind of someone else. Isn't that what writing is all about anyway? Travel is a real passion of mine. I sit here in "Bonnie Scotland", and whilst I appreciate all the beauty that sits at my doorstep, I cannot help but feel a fervent desire to see everything else out there. One day I shall travel the world, which will be a dream come true for me. In terms of family, well there aren't many of us Kirkpatricks anymore! I have my Mother, and Sister. My Paternal Grandmother, and my Maternal Grandfather (who lives with my kinda step-Grandmother). That is about it. We are a very small, but very close family, who have shared a lot of experiences, and even more emotions, but out of this has been born a great family bond, with a love to match. Currently still at High School. In my final year now, before I sit my final exams and venture off into the world. I want to live my life a "free spirit", and see where it takes me. As I sit here tonight and write this little bio, I wonder - who will join me? Maybe it will be you! Peace and love to you all. Turn the music up loud, be free, enjoy life - and remember "Nobody wins unless everybody wins"... (That's Springsteen by the way!)
