Connor Lemko

A recent high school graduate, Connor Lemko now studies business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Before attending college, he completed the college preparatory program at Detroit Catholic Central High School located in Novi, Michigan. Connor Lemko held membership in the school's Gabriel Richard Club in recognition of his academic excellence. In addition, he belonged to the National Honor Society.

Active in sports, Connor Lemko played varsity football and was a Catholic League Champion in high school. He took part in the Farmington Summer Baseball League, a program for individuals ages 18 and below. He previously served on the rowing team at St. Mary's Preparatory. Graduating in 2012, he went on to begin his postsecondary education soon after. Lemko received a Red Hawk Scholarship from Miami University.

Outside of his academic work, Connor Lemko possesses experience in multiple community service activities. He served as a volunteer at St. Christine's Soup Kitchen in Detroit. The kitchen is part of St. Christine Christian Services, which also maintains a food pantry for those in need. Lemko has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in his community. He supports the work of the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America as well.

A long-time Nike enthusiast, Connor Lemko maintains a collection of rare and collectible Nike sneakers. Lemko also finds time to pursue his interests in snowboarding and skateboarding. In 2011, he attended the High Cascade Snowboarding Camp in Mount Hood, Oregon. High Cascade campers receive professional coaching and have the opportunity to engage in a variety of outdoor activities beyond snowboarding.
