I am a reporter and editor living in the southwest suburbs of Chicago where I was born and raised.
My passion has always been storytelling. Whether through journalism, short stories or acting, I have always been in pursuit of the next story to tell. I work to bring stories to life and create a medium for audiences to experience those stories in an authentic way.
As part of the LGBTQ+ community, my queerness has been a large part of the work that I create. I am incredibly interested in telling the stories of the queer community and its intersections with the rest of the world.
I am a huge nerd and I spend my free time reading comic books, sci-fi and fantasy and playing video games. I also work as a part-time dog sitter, due to the fact that I am slightly obsessed with dogs and think they're the best animals on the planet.
I graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor of journalism in magazine editing and a minor in theatre performance. Currently, I work as a freelance reporter for 22nd Century Media in Chicago, and as the Comics Editor for Fangirl Magazine.
