I have a passion for conservation work. I have a passion for being outdoors and experiencing the natural world whether in a remote wilderness area or an urban park. I have an innate drive for finding innovative solutions to complex problems. I believe that the web can be a powerful tool for supporting conservation work. I created the website Conservation Maven to help professionals working to protect, restore, and study nature. I launched the website CJB Network to help aspiring graduate students search for environmental master's, Phd, and certificate programs in the United States. I created Conservation Job Board to make the search process easier for job seekers in fields like ecology, wildlife, forestry, and marine biology. I have begun extended the concept behind the Conservation Job Board to other fields. I launched My GIS Jobs to connect GIS professionals with new geospatial job openings. My hope is that these ventures will find enough success that I can continue my experiment of combining a conservation mission with web-based entrepreneurship.
