Paul Cook is a speaker, trainer and consultant in hybrid and online events.

Paul works with event planners/exhibition organisers/business owners and marketeers to optimise the impact of their event/exhibition for business growth and increased performance.

He believes hybrid events have to make business sense. He also works with speakers to help them speak virtually and develop their understanding of the opportunities from this method of event delivery.

Speaking
Paul offers keynotes in the specialist area of hybrid events. He has spoken to event professionals, marketeers, business owners and speakers across the globe.

He is comfortable at delivering either as a ‘live in person’ speaker or as a ‘remote/virtual’ speaker.

Paul is a member of the Professional Speaking Association and the Global Speakers Federation.

Paul is co Author of Risk It! How to Run Great Events and Live with the Risk and he is a Contributor to the 9th Edition of Convention Industry Council Manual which is used by numerous event planners.

Roots
Building on his event risk management roots (he started his career in insurance and created his own brokerage in 2006 – Clarity Event Insurance), his experience at Pinewood Film Studios, his work with event planners and his interest in new technologies has naturally led Paul to seeking ways to extend the traditional boundaries of events for greater business development.

In 2008 he created Planet Planit which is a resource for event planners.

In 2012 Paul created the Hybrid Event Centre which is a specialist agency of Planet Planit.
