Katie Coombes

I like to consider myself as a journalist in training. I have a passion for the news and reporting but I don't quite have the skills yet to be a professional. I am currently enrolled as a journalism student at Ryerson University located in downtown Toronto and it is here that I hope to develope those essential skills needed to be a professional and well educated journalist. Pop culture has always fascinated me and I thoroughly enjoy reading and writing about new movies and celebrities. In the past, I have written articles for my high school newspaper and have created magazines to hand out to fellow classmates at school. As a journalist, I am constantly learning and evolving. I take life experiences as they come and am the kind of person who jumps in with both feet.
