In our current work we are interested in exploring the transformation of everyday prosaic urban and natural environments in the transient light of nocturne. Utilising photographic documentation we capture the scene as a filmic moment in the narrative of a street or place.

To extend the narrative potential for these places, the images we make are distributed in the community through the Wordpress Blog <nocturnebrisbane.wordpress.com>. These online social spaces provide opportunities for community to provide further commentary based on the images and their own experience and knowledge. These responses could include connection with places where people work or have worked, places of heritage or natural value, places where people fell in love or had a car accident.

Ultimately the project will provide a document of the physical space illuminated by nocturne light.
