Cooper and Nita Penn

We are a Photographer & Stylist husband and wife team who specialize in authentic, story-driven content.

Cooper, my super talented husband, holds an MFA in Design Management and a BFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art & Design (SCAD). His experience includes 10+ years as a Lighting Technician and Photographer/Videographer, five years as a Photo Assistant to world-renowned Photographers in NYC, two years as Principal Photographer and Art Director for LUVU Brands, and two years as the Brand Manager and Communications Director for Senator Janelle K. Sarauw of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Nita, my extremely multi-talented wife, is a Communications and Organizational Development maven and published Set Design & Prop Stylist. Additionally, she has a background in Military Intelligence & Human Resources, a passion for Human Capital Management, and a good eye for Creative Direction. She has helped photographers show their work in international exhibitions, personal trainers land celebrity clients, voice-over actors land deals with national brands, and textile designers sell their products in West Elm. She additionally consults in nonprofit and small business organizational development, talent acquisition, and much more. In short, she's pretty savvy.

We began working together after marrying in 2014. Our first official shoot together was an Adidas sponsored Doubles Tennis Tournament for POPsocial, Inc, and our most recent shoot together was a U.S. Navy/Marine Corps Commissioning Ceremony at Savannah State University!

Our interestingly diverse backgrounds shine through in both our work ethic and collective vibe. Creativity, professionalism, and integrity are at the core of everything that we do. We are based in the Raleigh-Durham area but are open to travel. We look forward to working with you!
